Pumpkins have been a huge part of American culture since the Native Americans introduced the vegetable to the Pilgrims whom started using them for cooking and decoration. Pumpkins are native to North America and are symbolic to the beautiful Autumn season ever since they made their debut into the Halloween and Thanksgiving festivities back in the 1600s.
